Rehabilitation for Independence & Support
The High Care Unit consists of seven isolation cubicles where medically complex patients are treated. It is an environment providing a higher level of individual care and monitoring than the rest of the wards. These patients are often mechanically ventilated. Once they start to recover, they are moved to the general wards in the facility.

Our Sub Acute Wards - Both Modern & Private
Our General Wards are modern, single units with a private bathroom. Each room is fitted with an air conditioner and DStv. Built in cupboards provide ample space for storage of clothes.

Providing a Holistic Approach to Your Care
Care@Midstream provides a holistic care that treats the patient as more than a collection of organs. We provide a person-centred approach focusing on addressing the person, rather than their condition.

Struggling With Your Blood Pressure?
Our Nursing Managers set policy, protocols, guidelines, procedures and ensure adherence to SANC professional standards.

Only The Best For Your Patients
Happy Youth Day to all our exceptional staff, nurses and doctors, and our wonderful patients!

Happy Workers Day!
Wishing a very Happy Worker’s Day to all those who work hard each and every day without making any compromises in life. We appreciate you!

A BIG THANK YOU to nurses around the world.
We at Care@Midstream want to personally thank our nurses from the bottom of our hearts. You ROCK!

Find Your Voice Again!
Instead of talking on behalf of the patients, they can now validate their own thoughts and feelings with the help of the talking mats and key cards.

The ClaytonCare Group provides a specialised solution to the management and treatment of patients with an altered consciousness. The A²MP program provides a cohesive management approach over 14 weeks which starts in the acute phase of admission and extends to the discharge period.

Social Workers
The role of the social worker at Care@Midstream is to liaise with family members regarding their loved one, providing them with updates on progress and assisting with discharge planning – connecting the family with resources and planning for the patient’s needs once at home.
